CIGMAN CD-80 Laser Tape Measure

Please please please read the instructions before using this tool! If you arent used to electronic measuring tools then this is NOT beginner friendly at all. I will say once I got the hang of using it I love it! There are different means of measurement setting for the laser. its compact and comes with a little case you can put it in for easy storage. The price is fair for all it can do. I was measuring my wall to order some wallpaper and the laser tool was accurate! Its honestly really neat! The displace panel is easy to read, and setting were easy to set. This is a quality laser tool and doesn't feel like cheap plastic. I know I am not using it to its full capability but its a great leveler and measuring guide and that's to the extent to which I have used it and have been very pleased!

I got this thinking this would be a cool toy to play with when I wanted to have a little fun when doing home improvement types of things. It ended up being really useful to me and I actually prefer this over my old school tape measure. The accuracy has been consistent. I’ve left my tester in a static location and every test noted the same result.One of the other cool things too was that it also has the ability to check the level of an item or an object that it is sitting on. I found that useful because I park my car on a slight incline and when placing the vehicle on jackstands I can adjust the jack stand height to ensure that my vehicle was level prior to refilling the fluids in my engine. While it does have a mock up version of a tape measure. I found it easier to just use the distance check and then make adjustments from there. It also performs some basic mathematical equations, like checking angles using the Pythagorean theorem and also doing things like area and volume. While I don’t have any plans to build an entire house with this thing as my primary Tool I still find it more convenient doing basic measurements than using the old-school style tape measure, especially when you’re dealing with long lengths and you don’t have an extra pair of arms 15 feet away to hold the tape steady while getting your measurements. overall I’ve been very impressed with this product.
